The Story of the Singla Family
In 2002, the Singla family took their first step into India's rice industry by establishing Luv Khush Pvt Ltd — a small but ambitious milling unit driven by a singular vision: to deliver premium quality Basmati rice that could rival the best in the country.
Through relentless dedication to quality, the family quickly earned the trust of India's biggest rice brands, becoming a key supplier to KRBL (India Gate) and other major FMCG companies. Every grain that left the mill carried the family's reputation — and they never compromised.
In 2007, the family charted a new course by establishing Sangam Pvt Ltd as an independent operation, scaling up with modern machinery and expanding into international markets.
The pinnacle came in 2013 when Surya Foods was born — a world-class, state-of-the-art rice milling facility built from the ground up in Punjab. Today, Surya Foods exports to 25+ countries and continues the Singla family's legacy of delivering excellence, one grain at a time.

The Singla Family Enters the Rice Industry
The Singla family began their journey in the rice industry by establishing Luv Khush Pvt Ltd — their first rice milling and processing unit. With a vision of delivering premium quality Basmati rice, the family laid the foundation of what would become a multi-decade legacy.

Sangam Pvt — A New Chapter
The Singla family separated from the original unit and established Sangam Pvt Ltd as an independent rice milling operation. This new venture allowed them to scale operations, invest in modern machinery, and serve a growing domestic and international clientele.
First International Exports
Sangam Pvt ventured into global markets with its first export shipments to the Middle East, marking the family's entry into the international Basmati rice trade and building relationships that continue to this day.
Surya Foods is Born
The Singla family established Surya Foods — a state-of-the-art rice milling and processing facility built from the ground up. Equipped with the latest sortex, color sorting, and automated processing technology, Surya Foods represented the family's vision of world-class rice manufacturing.
FSSAI & ISO 22000 Certified
Surya Foods earned both FSSAI and ISO 22000:2018 certifications, reinforcing the company's unwavering commitment to food safety, quality management, and international compliance standards.
Export House Recognition
Recognized as an established export house under DGFT and registered with APEDA — a testament to Surya Foods' consistent export excellence and international trade credibility.
Launch of 048 Brand
